About the Author

Davina Falcon was born in 1962 and the book is being used as a tool to progress to success. Davina was influenced by a creative writing course which has enabled her to express feelings and experiences that she has endured throughout her life. Davina hopes the book will give people inspiration to do likewise. She also hopes it will give comfort to those who have had similar experiences, and most importantly – a voice. One issue that has become apparent to Davina is that actions speak louder than words, and a stitch in time saves nine. Davina hopes others can learn from these experiences; whether victims or professionals, and this could maybe make the road to mental stability a lot smoother.

The Annual Holiday

Every year we go away for a weeks stay.
It was always full of fun and I always enjoyed the run.
The night before, we would be so excited, and once we were there we would be delighted.
One year we went to Pwhellie Butlins, we had half board accomodation. The food was great and we cleared our plate.
We would be in and out of the arcades spending money and having fun, once the holiday had begun.
We would make friends and run and play and enjoy the holiday.
We would swim and dance the days away and be in bed fast asleep ready for the rest of the week.
So mark my words the holiday was good from start to finish and my memories will never diminish.
