About the Author
Mike Hackney was born in Abilene, Texas on March 20, 1969. He received a BFA in creative writing from Bowling Green State University in 1993 and a MLS in liberal studies from The University of Toledo in 2006. He is the author of two books, Learning To Write a collaboration and Midwestern Shoes, Your Poetic Self All Over Again. His works have appeared in Prairie Margins, The Cornfed Angel, and Broadway bards First and Helium.com. He currently lives in Sylvania, Ohio and is nearly finished with his first novel.
