Description

The author of this book has partly written it in a way he would go back to those years when he was a student to gain, appreciate and learn from his written work. To sort of encourage him further in his writings and how to manage his illness. Suffering from schizophrenia he goes through mood swings, reveries which comes every now and then where in this book, he narrates his experiences and endeavours to cope. How he goes into periods of recreating certain aspects of his daily life. Which are in two dimensions one is to recreate the things he enjoys doing the other part is about trying to do away with what he feels are less enjoyable or less favourable to experience. For these reasons he has titled the book ‘recreational’.
Going back to the days when he was a student is one thing what about how he fair with his illness. Suffering from mental health issues a sufferer’s mind, feelings emotions dread certain things e.g., swaying, dizzy spells, walking with quick steps, having a particular sort of food too often what people or voice bearers say etc.
He is the author of several books this book, is of three part the first part is titled: KNOWLEDGE OF WHO I AM, the next book is titled: MINDFULNESS and the third part is titled: PREMONITION. Through recreational process he manages his illness of paranoid schizophrenia.
One aspect he has come to realize is that as time goes on the ability to do what you enjoy leaves a sufferer one needs to recreate other ways to manage the illness. If, you have gone very far managing your illness of schizophrenia or bipolar you might realize at some point your brain had been going through repeated pattern. In that case I guess what you might do is take a step back and summon yourself to meet up with the repeated change, challenges, and brain patterns you have been going through. You might at the end of the day ask yourself is this me! And then reward yourself.
