This amazing author who hails from a somewhat obscure background
Carries on beyond all boundaries intriguing her readers. There are few questions left to ask by the time her subject has been completed.
Her writing is extremely descriptive, bouncy, witty, and a pleasure to read. This, her latest in a line of published books by chipmunkapublishing titled `Part 2 Of Love That Waited 40 Years On The 321 Bus goes on to spring a few more surprises. It is hard to put her book down and her readers have become addicted to her sharp entertaining wit. She has obviously learned a lot
about life in general and geographically this author has engaged in a way with all people even learning to speak their language and using her skills as a Homoeopath treating those in the tropics and in U K. A lady whose profession
is Legal asked her recently why she had spent her time helping others and spent so little time helping to forward her own aspirations? The answer is simple according to Rosaleen`s published books she has been detained in guinea pig trials as a teenager for years and her self esteem is not as it should be. Many would lose faith in humanity if faced with this torture, but she rises above it and her indomitable spirit wins the day. In the past she has lectured in large hospitals in Berkshire, was one of the founder members of a local Centre for the Homeless, where infections, infestations and all sorts of
diseases were treated. This author has an abundance of knowledge and engaged with many listeners when she was a regular guest on BBC Radio.
Television appearances were not new to her and she always raised her questions with a positive attitude and was always well informed. The only sad thing is that her readers wish Rosaleen had started writing earlier.

About the Author

I have been in receipt of trauma counselling since 1999 on a daily basis,at times speaking till the early hours of the morning.Support from my trauma Counsellor helps me to come to terms with accepting that what has happened to me cannot now be changed. I cannot ever forgive those who had a vicarious liability to look after me and failed. As a result of being locked away for some years all because we were poor has brought certain limitations to my day to day life. Writing is a form of therapy and allows me to be free to be the person that I want to be, and should have been my birthright. Through writing I can reach out to others who may have had such an unfortunate experience as myself . Daily flashbacks can be upsetting and I fill my life with things to do so as to block them out. Day to day life can be exhausting and coping mechanisms that I learnt in order to survive have not helped me in the outside world. God help all fellow survivors and perhaps one day Ireland will accept the terrible price we paid. Shame on all you right thinking residents in Ireland to allow the government and Catholic Church to ignore harm done to me and many others who are either dead or too ill to tell their story. Thanks to Chipmunkapublishing I have been able to confront my demons and a Big Thank you to Reatha my trauma counsellor without her I would not be here today writing about my stolen life.

Book Extract

Such efforts were encouraged
When the enemies they had be killed
Being an ammo member one had one’s work cut out
Having to keep up the speed of clips of shells
Due to the gun’s high rate of fire
Working tirelessly Hugh did try
And met exhaustion till he grew overtired
The noise was not easy to bear
Especially with automatic firing
There was hardly time for a prayer
Today Hugh looks back in time
When he cut a career out for himself
And it was not because he was involved in crime
Those other young lads about the same age as him
Were aware that they were fighting for their country
And it was in the name of their country and king
Hugh witnessed a heavy bombing
During 1944 Britain suffered a new blitz
It was caused by the V1 Doodlebugs
They blew London to bits
Many exploded within bomb alley
Lads like Hugh put up our defences
And very quickly did rally
Such attacks Britain did abhor
But at the end of the day we gave the enemy ‘What For’
Although R A F Hornchurch
Only suffered minor damage back then
East London suffered thousands of casualties
The like one never wants to see again
We responded by putting together a group (MRU)
That had been formed at Hornchurch
This dealt with attacks that were more than a few
The MRU was a brilliant repair unit
That was used to clear bomb sites
And dealt with properties brought down
The (BDF) (Bomb Disposal Flight)
Was tasked with dealing with the bombs
That had not exploded
This was no easy task as German weaponry
Was advanced
And our defence measures were well coded
Late 1944 these V2 Missiles were unstoppable to say the least
Early November 1944
A V2 exploded within one hundred metres
Of the Airfield
Many asked themselves if such attacks
Would ever cease
On March 12th 1945 another story of gloom
A V2 hit the centre of the Airfield
Destroying the new NAFFI, damaging the Sergeant’s mess
The Airmen’s cook house and the rest room
Training units still use Hornchurch
And aspirations are now future bound
These grounds are regularly used
As a landing ground
Roy keeps in touch with his good friend
And regularly they both have a telephone chat
Catching up on what mutual friends are doing and
Sharing a giggle about this and that
Like the gramineous plant competing for height
The sun entices its growth with effortless energy
Roy puts younger ones to flight
Hard to see men in their thirties from work shying away
While Roy always sees work to be done
With him good habits they will stay
Our health awareness continues to be
One of the most important things in our lives
