This book describes the memories of the main events such as cycling, rowing, gymnastics and the 5000 metres and 10000 metres track events.
It is a follow up to my book about the last Olympics The Olympic Games, London 2016 which is also available from, both as an e book and a paperback.
This time I have written in the form of a diary, the headlines from the day, adding a description and my own opinion.
It has been fascinating to recall some of the highlights from 2016 in Brazil.
I took a particular interest in local athletes, such as Adam Peaty, from Uttoxeter and Byrony Page from Nantwich. Seeing their success gave me a lot of pleasure.
I have always believed that physical fitness is important with regard to mental health; the Olympic Games are the pinnacle of athletes achievements.
I hope the reader will enjoy this book and remembering the games in Rio de Janerio.
I have written five other books which have been published by and are listed on my website,
How to improve mental health
The changing world of mental health
My insight into the world of computers
My Middlewich
