About the Author
Joshua Udell is a successful author, husband, and father. Joshua received his bachelor’s degree in Biblical Literature from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri.
Mr. Udell was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 3rd 1979 and has been married since June of 2002 and enjoys a good book and family time with his wife Lindsay and son Jesse.
Joshua Udell grew up learning about Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism and is a writer of mythology, poetry, prophecy and many other religious subjects.
Mr. Udell has traveled the world, lived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and has visited many countries including Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Bahrain, France, England, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Mexico. Mr. Udell currently resides in Joplin, Missouri.

Is it possible to hear God’s voice? In John 10:27 it says, “My sheep hear my voice I know them and they follow me.” Could it be that God wants you to hear his voice more than you want to hear it? For many people God is not interested in speaking outside the Scriptures or at any time with them. I want to clear the dust from the window on this subject. I believe God eagerly wants to talk to his children. Every born again believer has listened and obeyed the voice of God already. Remember when you were saved you were offered a personal relationship with your Lord and Savior? You could not have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior without first listening to the Holy Spirit lead, guide, prompt and follow his voice.
In Proverbs 25:2 it says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the honor of kings to search out that matter.” If you want to know the will of God you need to seek after it with all your heart and try to listen to that still small voice that is leading you to seeking after the will of Christ! After praying we often wait for a response, and when we seek God for an answer, we are waiting to hear what it is. So what we are actually doing is seeking to hear from God. Do you want to hear the voice of God better? Simply ask of him, for he says you do not have because you do not ask. If you listen to Jesus and do what he tells you to do, things will go so much better for you like a house built on the rock and not on the sand. If the Holy Spirit is living inside of you don’t you think that he is longing to hear from you and he desperately wants to talk to you as well?
Some ways that God wants to talk to us today is his still small voice, in a vision, an impression, a dream in the night and the ultimate way is of course through the Scriptures.
He wants to use all of you, your mind, your heart, your eyes, and your life. The more God begins to speak to you the more you will want to hear him, listen to him and communicate back to him.
Perhaps you have been hearing God’s voice for some time but just didn’t realize it. I am hoping you will be able to discern God’s voice more clearly and this article will be like jumper cables for you to hear and understand how God communicates today to his sheep. I believe that you have been hearing the voice of God since the day you were born!
