About the Author

Dulcie was born in 1940, the eldest, in a family of 7 children. Thought to be very bright, she was sent to school expected to sweep everything in front of her. She turned out to be clumsy, slow to learn and unable to make friends.
She was targeted by bullies and later had difficulty in holding down jobs and getting boyfriends. Her parents couldnt make out what was wrong and kept meting out punishment and blaming her. Dulcies first marriage ended unhappily. Finally diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome when she was 61, she has now re married and has a family. Dulcie is now involved in art,
writing, reading and researching her Family Tree.
