Description
Andrew Aldred was born in Newcastle in 1966. His family moved to Bolton early in his life because of his father’s job. His mother worked as a primary school teacher for most of her life. He joined the army aged sixteen and was discharged some years later because of his mental and physical health. He served with the Royal Engineers in the Falkland Islands in 1985 and is an army veteran. He then turned his mind to education and took A levels, some computer and administrative qualifications and passed an HND in computer studies. He committed a crime, stabbing his father in 1997 and has dealt with the mental health services since then with a great deal of difficulty. He has worked as a mental health worker, a warehouseman and a teaching assistant and in more recent years has written a series of books of which this is the nineteenth.
About the Author
This book is my opinion about a lot of current issues, including the new American president, the wars in Gaza and Ukraine and the changing shape of the world in terms of hierarchy. It also includes my opinion of the mental health services after forty years of treatment and some insights into my personal life.
