‘All in a lifetime’ is a glimpse into my life, with its ups and downs, some of which have been extreme mainly due to my Bipolar Disorder.

It not only describes my journey as a young women into adulthood but also my travels into many countries starting with my quest to reach Afghanistan. On return, the book explores the deterioration of my mental health and the archaic treatment available at the time.

Biography

My name is Kristi Richards and I am a survivor of Manic Depression (Bi-Polar) and after many manic episodes, which have shaped my life I am still here to tell my tale.

There is no doubt that my hobbies of art, yoga, reiki and crystal healing have helped me, as have my latest treatment and a new awareness of Mental Health, although there is still a long way to go.

Despite this and with a lot of hard work I have been able to maintain my independence and feel very appreciative of the support of family and friends and my cat Twinkle who gives me unconditional love.
