Description

This book on schizophrenia deals with how the schizophrenia overload the mind with fear and pain and my story how I have learned to affects the functioning of the brain. It then looks at different ways this can be dealt and outlines it all through narrating personal experience. It ends with the outcome of how many of these problems have been eased and overcome.

It begins with an account of the terror schizophrenia can cause to show have frightening the illness is and how difficult it is to stop the subconscious overload. It is a personal account of the symptoms an gets across how frightening it all it.

Schizophrenic fears manifest in two ways that cause the overload. IN my case I thought I was responsible for 9.11 and that the CIA were after me. The scale of the problem made it so frightening. The other aspect here was the emotional severity as I thought I had killed all those people.

So, the paranoid fear goes over your head but the effects of the overload into the subconscious happens in another way.

Schizophrenia is often associated with hearing voices and my case were criticising me for being responsible for 9.11 and reminding me I was to be punished in some indescribable manner. Again, in the context of the overload I felt really guilty for having caused it that I was in state of denial and not coping with the thought.

Thinking and believing I had killed all those people and that the CIA were after me for having caused it and feeling really bad about it because the voices were criticising me for being a bad person meant that the subconscious overload came back to in the form of these realisations, flash backs and memories.

About the Author

My biographical history is very much dominated by schizophrenia which began at age 21. I had just graduated from university and starting a PhD. course in political philosophy. I had to give up my PhD. after a five year struggle with the illness due to a lack of information to hand about what hearing voices actually is.
