Harrowing in parts, this is a book that’s difficult to put down. Stephen has written an outstanding account of his battle with not one but many disorders. His bravery and candour are to be admired and he is to be congratulated for raising awareness of BDD and for writing Suicide Junkie which is a very informative and memorable book.

Evoked very strong emotion, I was in tears at several points.
It is very honest. I know the area the writer grew up in very well, and he captures it so accurately. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, it has changed the way I feel about a lot of things.
Honestly, the most amazing book I have ever read.
