This was such a good informative book on so many levels of mentel illness and the life of a woman who has lived this life for many years. Although it was of course sad, Sues sense of humor came through and showed great courage. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

I found this book to be very enlightening and not at all heavy going to read. It's not a depressing story but quite the opposite in fact.
It is very funny in parts, but also extremely thought provoking. It certainly changed my outlook on mental health. Some people think that if a person has mental health problems then they must be 'mad' or 'nutcases' not so, as this book highlights really well.
I would highly recommend this book to anybody who is interested in human beings as people first and foremost and because what happened to Susan could happen to anyone of us.
