The characters are well-drawn, clearly distinguishable individuals who have the feel of real people – people you can believe in. The storyline is exciting and gripping, and comes together in its different parts in a masterly way. I found the novel inspiring, and am really impressed by the way I have been left with so many lasting images of the drama. A fantastic achievement!
