Description

It always starts with you.
There is a story in each of us. In this book you will learn more than a dozen powerful ways of standing up and telling your story. Conversations that matter help us share our knowledge. The ripple effect, our energy is our contribution uncovering new opportunities for action. Many of these little right actions free us from being stuck to becoming unstoppable.

Work on you for you. Become confident. Become unstoppable.

Work on you for you is the right action to unlock the powerful you. Believing in you and cheering for yourself is a daily practice. Let go of outdated and old habits that is a must. There are work pages for you to write down your answers and plans. There is a strong call to action for those of you ready to laugh, learn and launch yourself into a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Conversation is action, its the wellspring from which relationships and trust are generated and informed decisions grow.

Improving our listening skills gives us the confidence to ask better questions. We want to talk together about things that matter to us. This is what gives satisfaction and meaning to life. As we talk together we are able to access a greater wisdom that is found only in the collective around questions that matter. We can restore hope to the future.

Feeling this affirmation Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire, I went after my dream and launched The Carolyn Williams Show.
My purpose is to host conversations that touch the heart of what a human being or being human means. Cherishing and including diverse voices.
Never be afraid to do whats right. Stand up, be real and more importantly speak up for what you believe in.

Success is a result of loving what you do. You can create your future by connecting with your true self within.

Do more of what makes you happy and do little things that make you happy every day.

Trust that when you live by truth in service to others, people will be inspired to do the same.

Improving your life and making a difference has never been so much fun.
My show encourages interesting people to join me for a cafe style conversation. I dive deeper into these conversations when we develop a deeper understanding of who we are as we explore each story.

Description

On what I thought was my last admission to hospital during a writing activity I came up with the idea for a children’s story. I then wrote a series of stories to be suitable for children between the ages of 0 and 8 years. Giving that age bracket a simple but similar book to the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

However, in time I realised that the now compiled book of short stories could be the missing gap for the popular series of Harry Potter written by J K Rowling (reading age 8 – 15), and the J. R. R. Tolkien books mentioned above. For readers aged 15 and over.

The main character is Bibby who is a bib. He has four best friends, Mr Kettle, Egg Cup, Toasty and Mr Mug. They all live in a small town called Small Town. Which by the way is only one of the main places in People Land, the other two popular parts are Big Town and the People Land Park. There are also other lands for example Magic Land.

The book has thirty stories within and is illustrated. Ideally, this book is not a random story read for the first time reading.

The author J C Beswick was born on 11th November 1978 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He and his mother soon moved to Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.
At the age of eleven diagnosed with dyslexia meaning there was a difficulty with reading and writing. As a result, a move from everyday schooling to a private school that specialised in helping dyslexics.

After one year there was a move back into mainstream education. In an additional same period off to a boarding school which could also support his study difficulties. When seventeen diagnosed with mental health.

Pete was born in Birmingham in 1951. He did very well at school at infant and junior level then was unfortunate enough to attend an all boy’s school run by a brutal Headmaster who had been an ex Borstal Governor. Pete gradually withdrew into himself and his education suffered. He eventually left school without taking any exams. For many years’ he became an anti- educationalist.
A Carpenter by trade he gradually lifted his stance against education and having taken the appropriate exams required to become an instructor he spent the last ten years of his working life teaching construction at an upper school near Leicester.
Largely self-taught he developed a passion for reading, particularly poetry, and became a member of the Leicester Poetry Society. This children’s book was inspired by his four Grandchildren. The Insect Makers is his first venture into the world of children’s books.

About the Author

Roz was diagnosed with Schizophrenia in 1996 after a decline in her mental state during her teenage years. In London, at University, she studied Jewellery and Silversmithing and worked hard at The Marquee Night Club by Soho. She travelled to Northern Ireland at the age of 21 to get to know her father’s Irish side of the family, and remains there to this day. She believes we can all get well. Creating this book, she states, has been more therapeutic than therapy and is for the anti-stigma movement. She says the book helped her redesign her self-concept. Hence the first chapter is called “The End” and the last “The Beginning”.

Jack, before you were born, many leap years ago……Mommy always looked at the other Frogs and wondered “Why do the other Frogs look so happy sitting on their Lilly white Lilly Pads?” And Mommy had wondered why she felt excluded from the rest of the Frogs. Mommy lived in the same Lilly pad pond that the other Frog’s lived; Mommy drank the same water the other Frog’s drank. Mommy could still leap from log to limb and Mommy could still swim and dunk and row, but Mommy still felt sad. This made Mommy very confused.
